Former EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde Immortalised In Edo State

Late former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Lamorde, has been immortalised in Edo State.

An ultra-modern auditorium and an outdoor sports centre with state of the art facilities built at Ogbona Secondary School premises, in Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State named Ibrahim Lamorde Hall was dedicated to the late former EFCC Boss.

An indigene of Ogbona community in Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State who is also a director in the pipe line security firm Inter-Atlas Synergy, Peter Dunia is the facilitator of the auditorium and outdoor sports complex project built inside the premises of Ogbona secondary school to immortalise the late EFCC boss Ibrahim Lamorde who hails from Mubi in Nasarawa state.
Dunia and other members of the Inter Atlas Synergy applauded the laudable project while describing late Lamorde as people-person and a problem solver who could be relied on for help at any time.

The inauguration of the ultra modern auditorium and other projects which was witnessed by personalities from within and outside Edo state including Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki was laced with pomp and ceremony.

In their goodwill messages, personalities who graced the event acknowledged the team spirit involved in making the project a reality while also tasking the people of Niger Delta to emulate Ogbona community by contributing to the development of their various communities.

Dignitaries in attendance at the ceremony included the representative of Edo state governor, Omobayo Godwin, Commissioner for Education, Joan Osa-Oviawe, the Ogie Anvianwu of Anvianwu, Etsako Central LGA, His Majesty Chief Jackson Etokhana, the national president of Host Communities HOSTCOM,Benjamin Tamaranebi and members of the Lamorde family.
