Kano Anti-Graft Agency Stops Ex-KASCO MD’s Attempt To Recover Seized Property

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission has accused the former Managing Director of Kano Agricultural Supply Company, KASCO, of fraudulently securing a court order to reclaim properties seized during an investigation into the alleged misappropriation of N4 billion Naira.

Speaking to journalists, the PCACC Secretary and Legal Adviser, Zahraddeen Kofar-Mata, condemned the action as a desperate and illegal attempt to recover assets allegedly acquired through proceeds of crime.

The Commission, highlighted that, the former MD, Bala Inuwa, along with his son and the Association of Compassionate Friends, have diverted public funds intended for the development of Kano State’s agricultural sector.
