NAPTIP Nabs Suspected Human Trafficker

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP says a wanted, convicted leader of an international human trafficking network, Uadiale Christiana Jacob, aka Christy Evan Osagie is now in its custody.

Jacob was arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and handed over to NAPTIP.

The socialite whose network operates across the Middle Eastern countries with an operational base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was arrested on December 31, 2024, on arrival from Dubai for new year celebration.

The suspect has been on NAPTIP’s list of wanted persons for the past five years.

Her arrest is contained In a statement by NAPTIP’s press officer, Vincent Adekoye.

Adekoye added that her suspected accomplices, one Michael Nduka, Osas Wiseman, Vivian, and a certain Prophet John in Lagos along with other field officers who assist in the recruitment and subsequent transfer of victims to Christy Gold, are still on the run.
